Nail'd features some impressive level designs and terrain that show they put the time in to make this a solid off-road racer. http://naildbiter.com/m3s6V

Review: nail'd

Two roads diverged on a dirt road â€" One great thing about nail'd is that even though you are in a race with other competitors, there are multiple paths that you can take on each track. It's difficult to take the same path twice with all the twists and turns you encounter on the way to the finish line. The tracks are full of jumps and you spend a lot of time in the air. The environments are unique for each track with worldwide locations. http://naildbiter.com/ba4K9

Nail'd Chews Up MotorStorm and Spits it Out (PS3/360 Review)

Then you have the Stunt Challenge where you're assigned points to each stunt you successfully complete. The winners are not determined by who crosses the finish line first, though it is important to stay close to the leaders. Because once the first person has completed the race everyone else's points start to decline. So you must not only complete stunts but also stay at the front of the pack while doing so. http://naildbiter.com/foas1

That's not to say nail'd is without faults. In a racing game with a lot of crazy obstacles, crashes are common. And from the initial results of a crash, it looks like nail'd could utilize it's physics engine pretty well to display some fun and over the top crashes. Unfortunately the developers chose to get you up and racing again instead. I'm not a fan of being dropped significantly when you crash, but at the same time, there's an over the top vibe going, and then you can't see your crashes to completion? Especially when the crashes could be a truly spectacular addition to the game, it seems like a real miss. http://naildbiter.com/kH881

Game Review: nail'd

http://fandomania.com/game-review-naild/

Any review of this game would be incomplete without mentioning the dirigibles. The landscape of nail'd is awesome and littered with jumps, twists, and obstacles, but the air is where you spend a big portion of your racing time, and it needs some high quality decorating as well. Hot air balloons, blimps, and all sorts of other floating craft populate the Verneian skies in the game. Sometimes you'll observe the aircraft from afar, sometimes you'll dodge them as you complete a jump underneath, and sometimes you'll bound off their bouncy tops in mid-jump. The abundance of skyfaring vehicles adds to the awesomeness of a game that already is bursting at the seams with awesome. http://naildbiter.com/Q96ym

Product Review: Nail'd

If the speeds seem a bit over-the-top, wait until you hit a jump. Boosting on the face of one-mile drop-off sends you skyward to levels usually only achieved by Boeing and NASA. Any complaints that it's difficult to pull off a complicated freestyle trick in the two or three seconds of hang time found in most other games does not apply to Nail'd! We weren't exaggerating above when we stated that the game encourages riding off a full-mile drop. That must be some suspension package! http://naildbiter.com/mw8NM
